Historic Document Archiver - Map Reviewer Needed
Help Volusia County process & prepare historical documents to be scanned for relevance and readability.
Donated historical survey documents need to be scanned - we need help preparing these documents for permanent archival and retrieval.
Get a chance to see and handle historical century-old maps, photographs, and documents that are not currently public.
Flexible schedule based on your availability Monday-Friday - work one hour a week, or work four hundred! (Set your own schedule!)
Location: Daytona Beach (Indian Lake Road)
Indoor/air-conditioned review area.
Volunteers must be able to:
- Visually review documents
- Lift 20 lbs
- Be comfortable with handling delicate materials
- Have a sense of adventure
